The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and loads no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google. If you never submit a form, we don't know you were here beyond the ordinary server logs described below.
What we collect when you submit a form
The notify, contact and partnership forms collect what you type — your name, email address, company, website and message, as applicable — along with which page you submitted from, so we know what you were reading when you got in touch.
Right now those forms open your own email app with the details already filled in, and nothing is sent anywhere until you press send in your mail client. Your message then reaches us as an ordinary email, and nothing about you is stored on this website or by any third party in the process.
When the show's contact system goes live, the same forms will submit directly to GoHighLevel, the customer relationship system Unfinished Empires uses to manage contacts and send email. This page will be updated before that happens.
We use that information to reply to you and, if you asked to be notified about the show, to email you when episodes launch. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
The guest application
The guest application lives on book.unfinishedempires.com, which is also operated by us on GoHighLevel. Anything you submit there is handled the same way: read by Ryan, used to decide fit and to reply to you.
If you join the launch list, every email includes an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. One email when the show launches, then the show's own rhythm. We don't pass the list to anyone.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent) as part of running the service and protecting it from abuse. That's ordinary web hosting, not analytics — we don't build profiles from it. Vercel's own privacy terms govern that data.
Links out
Where we link to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Podbean, LinkedIn or a partner's site, those services have their own privacy practices and we don't control them. Nothing on this page applies once you leave.
Your choices
Write to booking@unfinishedempires.com and ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We'll do it. You don't need to give a reason, and you don't need to be in a jurisdiction that entitles you to ask.
Children
This site is aimed at people running businesses. It isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
